Even before the pandemic hit the United States, there's been a shift in how direct sales parties are being held. We have implemented online parties and with good reasons! I don't know who created this image, but I totally feel it and thank that person for making it! Imagine how many more parties you can have too when you can do them comfortably from home?
Facebook is the largest platform that marketers use for online parties. We can create private groups with our participants and create engagement prior, during, and after the parties. But you can do it on Zoom, Google Meets, or any online video conference platform that you like. Just set a date, invite your guests, and have fun! Tips for improving attendance and engagement: *If you're hosting on Facebook, create a group just for your party. *If you're hosting on Facebook, send a message to each guest about your online party before adding them to your group. Don't just throw them into the group without their consent or acknowledgement. *Post or contact your guests with reminders, such as countdowns. I recommend sending one for one day before, and an announcement for one hour before. *If you're hosting an online party, do a live video! A live is more engaging and fun than just reading scheduled posts that people are to follow along. *Incentivize your guests with free prizes and promotions for participation and inviting people to the party. *Include games to break up the presentation and keep the fun going. *Share stories and testimonials of your products and services, not just the facts about what your products or services are. Facts tell, stories sell!
